Deborah P. Crevier-Kent, owner of For Sale By Owner Services began her career
as a licensed Real Estate agent. Realizing that home sellers typically pay
too much for real estate services, often even losing, Ms. Crevier-Kent started
For Sale By Owner Services which was incorporated in 1994. Her goal was to
create a company offering a full line of services including a professional,
cost effective, highly visible real estate advertising magazine for home owners
who want to sell their property "by owner". Since 1995, the company
has built an impressive roster of satisfied clients by giving customers the
best home sales service available at a fraction of the cost.
Due to the amount
of savings realized by both buyer and seller, and the enthusiastic customer
response, For Sale By Owner quickly became the leading
real estate publication in the Northern Virginia market, and currently sells
over 900 homes per year. Dedicated to helping home sellers and buyers alike
avoid costly real estate commissions in the home transfer process, our company
has saved our customers millions of dollars.
Ms. Crevier-Kent joined the National
For Sale By Owner Network, a consortium of For Sale By Owner publications,
in January of 1998. Membership now exceeds
58 publications nationwide. The FSBONetwork internet site is one of the top
10 ranking of most major search engines.
